Kindergarten

To register for kindergarten in the 2023-24 school year, your child must be five years old on or before Dec. 31, 2023.

Elk Island Public Schools has approved a Random Selection Process Pilot at James Mowat Elementary, launching in 2023-24. Refer to the registration 2023-24 information for details and key deadlines about how this pilot project may affect your child's kindergarten registration for the coming year.

Please upload all required documentation at the time of registration (ie. Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency). Registrations received without the required documentation are considered incomplete and will not be considered as received until completed.
